Legend of Diamond Claw's Search for Corona Borealis
S-c-r-e-e-ch! NANDO struggled under the gripping talons grasping his bleeding shoulders. He could not believe this was happening to him. He knew when he saw the strange symbol on his friend's recent-found treasure that trouble would surely follow. What was it his Mama Queen had told him? Freedom usually meant death for someone. Maybe today it would be his turn. He saw a longship coming into view; a black flag snapping in the turbulent breeze atop the mast. The rippled form of that stalking symbol seemed to slither towards him on the black material as the giant raptor descended in the wind. Diamond Claw had returned. What did he want with him? What evil awaited his troop? There was only One who could rescue them all. Elohim.
Fear speaks when evil lurks in the night.

I just finished it! I really liked it. It was shocking and very scary what happened to Cosmos and what happened to Nando on the ship at the end with the big boa. The book was funny, cute, and scary all at the same time. It was really good.

I finished this excellent book last night! It is an amazing story! I learned a lot about the constellations too. Praise the Lord with His stripes we are healed!

This book is an exciting and imaginative adventure that kept me reading to see the good win over the bad, and to see if the treasure is found. I love how the good animals show bravery, tell the truth, and trust in God. The good illustrations really highlight the story. The constellation map and the Corona Borealis will peak the readers' interest in God's formation of the stars to tell us the Gospel story. I loaned the book to two of my grandchildren and know they will really enjoy it!
